Paterno Wants to Return in 2011. But Does Penn State Want Him Back?

And so the Joe Paterno era will apparently continue at Penn State.

At least, it will continue so long as Paterno gets his way.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks now that Paterno would (finally) step down after his Nittany Lions' Jan. 1 Outback Bowl showdown with Florida. But in a news conference on Tuesday, the ever-stubborn Paterno told reporters had yet to even consider retirement. He said he has every intention of returning to the sidelines next season.
