Sunday Morning Observations, Week 5: Wisconsin Makes a Statement, Clemson is for Real, and Ohio State Has Issues

College football's Week 5 has come and gone.

And my oh my, what interesting week it was.

We saw South Florida exposed as a pretender on the road at Pitt. We saw Ohio State hit rock bottom with a depressing home loss to Michigan State--a loss in which the Buckeyes mustered all of 178 total yards. We saw Wisconsin blow the doors of Nebraska up in Madison, we saw Penn State struggle mightily to get past lowly Indiana (one week after the Hoosiers lost to ... North Texas), and we saw Alabama prove once again that the gap between themselves and the rest of the SEC (minus LSU) is massive.

College football's Week 5 has come and gone.

And my oh my, what interesting week it was.

We saw South Florida exposed as a pretender on the road at Pitt. We saw Ohio State hit rock bottom with a depressing home loss to Michigan State--a loss in which the Buckeyes mustered all of 178 total yards. We saw Wisconsin blow the doors of Nebraska up in Madison, we saw Penn State struggle mightily to get past lowly Indiana (one week after the Hoosiers lost to ... North Texas), and we saw Alabama prove once again that the gap between themselves and the rest of the SEC (minus LSU) is massive.

On Saturday night in Ann Arbor, it is really quite possible that Notre Dame football died.
