A funny thing will hit your computer within the next week. Somebody will send you a link to Auburn fans posing with the BCS trophy, and the derision will begin.
When Alabama fans posed last year, the Internet almost shut down from all the laughter. At the risk of sounding like some snooty New Yorker, a lot of Bama fans did look as if they'd just escaped from Jeff Foxworthy's basement.
My guess is Auburn will match them mullet-for-mullet as they line up at Wal-Mart and raise their index fingers to signify who's No. 1.
Make fun of them if it makes you feel better about your state's football impotence. The truth is Alabama is the greatest State in the Union.

At least it is when it comes to college football. And really, isn't that more important than just about every other measure?
