Case Keenum's much-anticipated senior season was cut short by injury.
But now, thanks to the NCAA, the Houston quarterback is getting another shot at Heisman glory.
The NCAA on Friday announced that it had granted Keenum a medical hardship waiver, thereby allowing him to play another season in Houston--his sixth season at the school. The waiver was granted in part because Keenum missed nine games this season with a torn ACL, and in part because he missed all of the 2006 season with a shoulder injury.
