Scores & More Presented By�Baseballtips.com�… The upset trend in college baseball went to another level on Saturday, with 15 upsets among the 47 games (32%) that were played involving top-50 teams�in the CB360�Composite National Rankings�(CNR), after 13 were upset on Friday. Most notably,�#36 Oregon won again at #18 Vanderbilt to clinch that series while three top-10 teams were knocked off on their home fields, as: Holy Cross avenged a Friday-night, extra-inning loss by beating #4 Texas A&in 10 (7-3) … Ohio State won 7-3 at #9 Georgia Tech … and Appalachian State rode the pitching of Ryan Atwood for a 1-0 win at #10 LSU. �front-page photo courtesy of Appalachian State #3 Stanford kept on trucking with a 6-3 win over #8 Texas, clinching that series on the heels of sweeping then-#11 Vanderbilt the previous weekend.
