Sunday Morning Observations, Week 2: An Irish Calamity, Another Georgia Loss, A New Reality for Penn State

On Saturday night in Ann Arbor, it is really quite possible that Notre Dame football died.

Brian Kelly and the Irish entered their showdown against rival Michigan knowing they needed to win; in the wake of that disastrous Week 1 meltdown against South Florida--a loss that saw the Irish commit five turnovers and do everything in their power to give the game away--the pressure was most certainly on, with Irish fans already questioning the collective abilities of this group of Fighting Irish, and the abilities of Kelly to coach them up.
