Washington State's Reggie Moore Charged With Marijuana Possession

Things continue to head south for Washington State. After losing their last three games, they may be losing their second leading scorer from a year ago and starting point guard Reggie Moore for a while.

According to KREM 2 Sports, Moore has been charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an arrest Dec. 11. Both offenses have been classified as misdemeanors which carry a mandatory sentence of one day in jail.

Moore sat out the first five games of the season due to injury, and it is not yet known if he will miss further time. Washington State is expected to release a statement later Wednesday. The sophomore is averaging 7.7 points per game this season and is the team's top 3-point shooter.

The Cougars host Oregon State Thursday night.
