Update: LaceDarius Dunn to Return to PracticeLaceDarius Dunn, the star Baylor guard facing allegations of domestic abuse, has been cleared by the school to return to classes, according to his attorney.
Attorney Vikram Deivanayagam told the AP that Dunn, the team's leading scorer, will return to class Thursday, a day after the school lifted its initial suspension.
Dunn has also been cleared to return to practice, according to a statement released by coach Scott Drew. However, he is not yet eligible to compete in games.
The senior is accused of breaking his girlfriend's jaw in a domestic dispute Sept. 27. However, his girlfriend, Lacharlesla Edwards maintains her jaw wasn't broken and that the Baylor player did not strike her.
Dunn averaged 19.6 and 4.8 rebounds for Baylor a year ago as the Bears went to its first Elite Eight of the modern era of the NCAA tournament.
