Big East Coaches Pick Pitt

NEW YORK -- Pittsburgh was the runaway winner in the Big East coaches' preseason poll, picked to win the conference title by 12 of the 16 coaches. (Voters could not pick their own team.)

"I didn't feel any different when we were picked first than last year, when we were picked ninth,'' said head coach Jamie Dixon, who said he heard about the results when he arrived at Madison Square Garden Wednesday morning for media day.
